The Outpost Customer Mangement System is a central management platform for the maintenance of your remote meters and sensors. You can quickly report on your data, battery and signal strength and be alerted to any problems.
It is from this platform that you can activate and deactivate SIMs, set logging and sensor parameters, position Outposts on maps, manage your end user logins and passwords and much more.
Manage each Outpost's settings, timezone, pictures and more.
Activate and deactivate your device and SIM (if supported) to control the monthly cost. Don't pay data costs when you're not using the device.
Change address and GPS map co-ordinates for complete asset management.
Control how often your Outpost communicates with the server, its timezone, web template and more.
Control the data logging settings and time interval of each sensor.
Keep track of all changes to Outpost settings and event information.
Remotely configure the logging interval and sensor settings of each data channel.
You can change the sensor configuration such as 4-20mA calibration settings and pulse weights from the website. The new settings are automatically propogated back to the Outpost on its next communication.
Change the logging interval of any of your sensors from the website. From 1 log per minute to 1 log per day - depending on your hardware compatability.
One of our most powerful website tools. Create calculated inputs using Visual Basic to create new data streams that can be a simple modification of an existing data stream - or a complex function of multiple data streams.
Once these calculated inputs are set up they will be constantly processed in the background and appear as if they were live sensors.
Sometimes you can't avoid having a spike in your data when a sensor malfunctions. You can easily change the data directly in the website if you have permissions. Or import an entire spreadsheet of new or corrected data.
Set up multiple alarms per Sensor if required. Deliver alarms via SMS or Email. High and low alarms with time or hysterisis reset values. Minimum night flow alarms, daily volume alarms and more. Set up alarms on calculated inputs if required.
As a complete Enterprise system Outpost Central has multiple levels of user login. Each login to the website is recorded in an audit log with the user name, time and IP address of the user. The main client user can access this audit log at any time for security checking and also to get statistics on system usage by end users.
These users have access to view all of their Outposts and sub clients. 'Administrator' roles have teh ability to change settings on any Outpost belonging to the client or sub clients.
Users capabilities can be customised through the use of the 'Roles' feature in the Client Management System.
Each Outpost can have multiple Outpost users. Each user can have 'admin' or 'user' rights. Admin have full control over changing Outpost settings. Users have limited rights such as read only for data but can be customised using the 'Roles' feature.
The client user can create groups and assign multiple Outposts to these groups. Outposts can appear in multiple groups. The client user will log directly into a website that has access to all Outposts in that group. Their access priviledges will depend on whether they are an 'Admin' user and the use of the 'Roles' feature.
Your data is your data. We will help you keep it safe but you can get access to it from a variety of different interface options.
You have secure access to a complete REST interface for retrieval of raw data, site settings and outpost settings.
Have your data exported to your own FTP server each day as a .csv file, in our XML format, in one of our supported council formats - or ask us to customise the format to your own.
You can download a csv file of any data from any or all of your outposts from within the Outpost Central website solution.
We have several councils who have their data automtically imported into their own SCADA server environment each day or in real-time. There are multiple options available - enquire for details.
If your preferred interface method is not listed then our developers can customise something for you. If none of the above terms mean anything to you - then maybe your people should talk to our people.
The Outpost standard template allows for full customisation of Graphs and Facts and Figures and Reports. We also provide some simple templates that allow for easy website replication when you have lots of different sites that you want to look the same.
Outpost graphs are extremely flexible. You can add many data series and optionally choose an aggregate function for each series. Once you're completely happy with your graph you can save it to your dashboard for instant access to realtime data next time a user logs in.
Set up multiple Facts and Figures for each Input to give instant information on maximums, minimums, averages, totals, runtime over an hour, day, month etc.

Your Meters and Sensors can be placed onto popular mapping tools such as google maps to help manage large numbers of sites. Site Maps and P&ID diagrams can also be used with the same powerful navigation tools as google maps.
